Sacred Heart University Athletics is seeking applicants for the position
of Equipment Graduate Assistant beginning July 1 st , 2023. This is a
12-month position that reports to the Head Equipment Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary sports for this position are Football, Softball, Men’s
Wrestling, Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Volleyball.
Attend football practices as needed and attend all home and
away football games.
Assist with practice and game laundry.
Keep inventory of all apparel, footwear, and accessory items for
assigned teams.
Serve as supervisor of Work Study students and 5-10 football
student managers.
Assist in the ordering of Adidas apparel for assigned sports.
Work with coaches and staff on a daily basis
Work with facilities/event staff to coordinate locker room set up
for visiting teams.
Evening and weekend hours with some travel required.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be willing to learn ordering processes with Adidas and
other vendors
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 1 year of Equipment Related Experience
Physical ability to handle bulky or heavy stock items, equipment,
and supplies up to 50lbs.
Valid Driver’s License with ability to drive University Vehicles.
Compensation:
Position includes tuition coverage as well as a stipend.
